I used to love 24. I watched the first and second season religiously and used to tell everyone how awesome it was. Somewhere along the way I started losing interest. I know that I should love it, because Keifer is always so cool in it. And one day I hope to get back into it.
For those of you who still love it, Fox has released a promo video for Season 8 of the series, which is set to premiere on January 17, 2010.
Attendees at Comic Con back in July caught the first peeks at the new season and now you can as well. I can't seen to find an official synopsis from Fox yet, but Slashfilm has a short description of the storyline:
This time Jack Bauer is ready to settle down and make family his priority (lets hope that Kim gets killed off early this season…), but of course something happens that sucks him back in. Middle East leader Arman Hashemi (Anil Kapoor) has traveled to the U.S. to sign a peace agreement with President Taylor, but assassins plan to keep this from happening.
Season 8 is set in New York City, a year-and-a-half to two years after Day 7. A “more budget-conscious” CTU has been reformed, complete with new leader.
