Last night's new episode of 90210 took some unexpected turns.  First, Liam decided to keep the bar he bought while on a bender and then got a surprise visit from a woman named Jane.  As it turns out, she is the young widow of a man he worked with over the summer.  Liam felt incredibly guilty because his friend died on a night when Liam was supposed to work instead. Not only that, but Liam also admitted that he inexplicably fell for Jane.  She decided to stay in town and the two fell into bed together.

Navid became slightly hysterical when he was sent a video of his sister Leila (who had disappeared), making it look like she had been kidnapped and held for ransom.  It turns out that she was only being a brat and hiding out with her boyfriend, who then told Navid he'd happily stay away from her for $75,000.  Navid decided to pay the jerk, but needed to get the money from his uncle.

Naomi and Annie decided to rush the most popular sorority on campus.  Annie got in, but Naomi was put through the ringer and later learned from the sorority president Holly that she'll never be accepted because the house that Naomi recently bought....that was supposed to be the new sorority house.  Now Naomi's vowing revenge, while encouraging Annie to remain in the enemy camp for the meantime.  And sweet Jeremy (guest star Matt Cohen) turned out to be a member of Marla's family and is determined to keep the money from Annie.

In the September 27 episode of 90210, Naomi decides to take her revenge on Holly.  But first she's going to need some back-up, so she decides to join the nerdy sorority.  Annie is dismayed to learn that Liam has moved on already and Navid has to deal with his uncle coming to town and engaging in some very bad business practices with Shirazi Studios.
