90210 Spoilers: Teddy's New Boy, Nilver & Departing Characters

90210 returned this week with a new episode (read Mark's review if you missed it).  At this point, the storyline with Mr. Cannon is presumably wrapped up, and we have a new cast member named Emily, who's obviously going to cause some trouble for Annie.  In the next episode, the girls head up to a yoga retreat (watch a sneak peek for the episode).   But what else will happen in the future?  We've collected a few spoilers for you.

Navid and Silver's Undercover Relationship

TV Line has revealed that Navid and Silver's relationship will continue to heat up.  We saw them kissing again in the previous episode, but now we know that's not going to end any time soon.  Michael Steger explains that Adrianna has simply become too self-absorbed, first with her growing singing career and now with the crumbling of it.  But Silver has been there for Navid for the last little while.  So Silver and Navid continue to keep their growing attraction secret and the two actors justify the relationship, even though they're sneaking behind their friend's back:

Adds Stroup: “Silver likes him and the chemistry is really there for them. She feels bad because her best friend is in love with this guy, but at the same time, her best friend hasn’t been a best friend recently. So I don’t blame Silver for falling for Navid.”

The truth will come out, and it won't be all sunshine and roses for the parties involved.

Teddy's Big Secret

As for Teddy, Dixon has now confronted him about seeing him kiss Ian.  But Teddy will soon be coming out about his sexuality.  Silver will actually figure out that Teddy and Ian are in a relationship and will be extremely supportive towards Teddy.  But it will be a few weeks before Teddy feels comfortable enough to let the rest of his friends know:

“Teddy and Ian just walk into a party — where everyone is! — holding hands,” dishes Donovan. “It’s a big, wide-eyed, what-the-heck, but Silver’s there to subdue the situation. It is as comfortable as is possibly can be.”

But the relationship between Teddy and Ian won't actually last very long.  TV Guide reveals details about their falling out:

"Teddy and Ian have a falling out and it ends quite abruptly," Donovan says. "In a way, Teddy puts one foot back in the closet and has concerns about who he's going to lean on and who's going to be his friend."

But Teddy's single days will be short lived.  We already know that Freddie Smith has joined the cast to play Teddy's new boyfriend and former roommate, and Teddy will slowly become more monogamous and enjoy being in a stable relationship.

Two Characters Are Leaving

There also won't be much room left for parents.  TV Line reveals that Lori Loughlin and Ryan Eggold, who play mother Deb and teacher Ryan, will be departing the show at the end of this season.  Like in the original 90210, the fact that the kids will be transitioning to college next year means that there won't be much more use for adults.
