666 Park Avenue Pulled from ABC Schedule; Happy Endings and Apartment 23 to Air Sunday Nights
ABC opted not to pick up the ratings challenged 666 Park Avenue after the new series failed to perform on Sunday nights, but the network intended to air all episodes from the original 13 episode order. Unfortunately for 666 Park Avenue fans, things have changed...slightly.
ABC is pulling the spooky drama from its Sunday night schedule. Instead, it will air new episodes of its two comedies - Happy Endings and Don't Trust the B--- in Apartment 23 - on Sunday nights beginning at 10:00 p.m., as well as in their current Tuesday night spots beginning at 9:00 p.m. Both comedies are underperforming on the busy Tuesday night schedule and are being given some extra exposure (until they're replaced with the Dancing With the Stars Results Show). This change will take place as of January 6.
The remaining episodes of 666 Park Avenue are expected to air at some point during the summer. ABC also opted not to renew the new drama Last Resort, but that's expected (as of now) to continue airing on Thursday nights until the original episode order is complete.
