Happy Endings: Check Out a New Poster, a Future Guest Star, and a Sneak Peek at Season 2's Premiere

It's time to dig out your Snooki costume in celebration because the time for more Happy Endings is upon us, ladies and gentlemen. With only a couple weeks to go before we kick off another 22 episodes with Penny, Max, and company, more information has started to come in about where the promising sitcom will be going in season two.

With news of other guest stars already confirmed (most notably, Megan Mullally will be appearing as Penny's mother), there's another big name making a stop into the gang's unusual universe. Entertainment Weekly has announced that Fred Savage (The Wonder Years) will be guest starring on an episode sometime during season two, where he'll be playing himself. (To give you a taste, he'll be providing live commentary of The Princess Bride while on a date with Alex. A-mah-zing, no?) Savage, who is known more as an award-winning director these days, last made a live-action guest appearance on a 2007 episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

If that wasn't enough, a sneak peek of the premiere (titled "Blax, Snake, Home") has been released and features some twirling, a meta joke about the show's vocabulary, and Penny moving into a new home. I don't need to tell you that it's fantastic, of course, but after the long summer hiatus, minus the "lost episode" in August, it's just time to watch these people in action again.

You can catch the second season premiere of Happy Endings on Wednesday, September 28th at 9:30.
