Revenge & Suburgatory Get Full Season Orders from ABC; Network Orders Extra Happy Ending Scripts

Yesterday it was The CW's chance to announce its full season pick-ups (which included all three of its new scripted shows).  Now ABC is announcing it's own pick-ups.  First, it has ordered a full season of its freshman drama Revenge for a full season. In addition, the network has ordered a full season of its half-hour new comedy Suburgatory and ordered six additional scripts for the show Happy Endings.

These renewals shouldn't come as a surprise.  Revenge premiered with over 10 million viewers and won the 10:00 p.m. time slot in the key demo against CSI and Law & Order: SVU.  Last night, Revenge once again took the top spot in the hour, although its ratings have decreased since the pilot.  Suburgatory also premiered to nearly 10 million viewers and has scored well in the key 18-49 demon.

Happy Endings, meanwhile, has seen it total viewer number increase in its second season, which is quite the feat.

Revenge, Suburgatory and Happy Endings all air on Wednesday nights on ABC.  If you missed last night's episodes, you can read our Revenge review here and our Suburgatory review here.
