As Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is starting to find themselves safe and slowly, both creatively and ratings wise, the show is starting to add some very exciting guest stars to the show.
First it was recently announced that Stan Lee is going to be featured in the 13th episode called “T.R.A.C.K.S.” and earlier this week it was learned that Bill Paxton is going to be featured in at least 4 episodes as Marvel Comics Agent John Garrett, with his first episode on March 4.
Today, another big announcement was made during the Television Critics Association where President of ABC Paul Lee revealed that Lady Sif (played by Jaimie Alexander) from Marvel’s Thor and Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World is coming to the ABC drama.
Not much was followed with that announcement other than the detail that she will be appearing in episode 15 of the show. This is incredibly exciting as Alexander is an extraordinary actress and her portrayal of Lady Sif has been a great addition to the Thor franchise.
Hopefully they will take this opportunity and have a great story set for her as she (minor spoiler alert) was sadly not featured enough as one had hoped in the Thor sequel last year. It will be interesting to see what this could mean for Thor in future movies since he, along with the other members of the Avengers, is under the belief that Agent Coulson is dead.
