American Horror Story Season 7 Election Fanposter and Potential Cast

In some unfortunate news over the weekend I shared with you that Kathy Bates would not be playing the role of Donald Trump in American Horror Story Season 7.   As many of us already know, the 2016 election is said to be a big part of AHS’s theme for its upcoming 7th season.   Ryan Murphy has hinted at some people actually playing the fictional Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump but has not indicated which actors will do so.  Murphy also said that Sarah Paulson is already being looked at as Hillary Clinton in the next season but he wants people to remember that the entire show will be allegory.  Still though, we can help but anticipate what political figures will be portrayed in the show and by whom.

Recently a Reddit user decided to create a very interesting American Horror Story Season 7 poster which I personally think FX should take a look at.  It’s pretty solid.   Not only was the poster created, but apparently the artist behind the poster even wrote the majority of season 7 already.  Here’s a quick quote from the user:

As the republican candidate Denny Huston as a similar Donald Trump, with a foreign and mysterious wife (Isabelle Huppert),. For the democrats Kathy Bates (similar Hilary Clinton) and as his husband John Goodman. I have written almost all season, are u interested?

My answer is “yes.”  I’m pretty interested.  As far as the selections in this poster, what do you guys think?  Do you agree than Denny Huston should play Trump?  I know everyone’s first inclination is to see Alec Baldwin but I think that would be a little too humorous for AHS.  We definitely need a darker tone here.   I like the John Goodman pick as Bill.

How would you cast the politicians in American Horror Story’s upcoming season?  Unfortunately we have a while to wait (September) but we’ll keep you posted of anything new.  Check out the poster below:
