I am one of the "old Fogies"! I liked both Kris & Adam , but in the end I felt Kris was more marketable as a "pop" music artist. Kris was easy to listen to. He didn't really put out a "hey, look at me" presents, but, he played and say from his heart. His easy going, soft spoken personality was appealing. Adam has a voice, stage presents & showmanship. He was entertaining to watch. I could see him doing Broadway! NOT pop music. No one can deny he was/is theatrical. But after a while his performances all had the same twist on them. I "predicted" they would have him perform with KISS or the remainder of Queen....because that is exactly who he reminded me of. (They are all "old Fogies" now too). Those "bands" were huge in their/my day. But, they "came into" fame as bands, not individual performers. Part of that fame was the "shock factor". I am not sure any of them could have found independent stardom under the same theatrical identities that propelled them to the top as groups. He just sounded like a girl the entire time he was singing. Danny was pretty good, but Kris is the one that really impressed me. He's been preforming his version of "Heartless" for numerous talk shows with just his voice and his guitar, and it is amazing. Adam has a voice made for the theater, and apparently the personality for it as well. I happen to have loved BOTH of them. I loved Kris from the moment he sang To Make You Feel My Love. His style matched mine. I was fascinated by Adam from the auditions on. They are both absolutely fabulous! Neither is a loser. Kris' style just appealed to more people. Those people are not wrong and neither are Adam's fans. There is room in the music industry for all types of musicians. Its a shame that there had to be a "winner" but that is the nature of the show and Adam fans are not doing him any favors by claiming that the show was rigged or whatever. Kris won. Adam won. They love each other. Why can't their fans just follow their example?
