2013 NAACP Image Award Winners

naacp image awardThe 44th annual NAACP Image Awards were handed out Friday and on the television side, the wealth was mostly spread. ABC’s Scandal walked away with two award, picking up Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series for Kerry Washington, who also won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her turn in Django Unchained and the President’s Award for her public service. Tyler Perry’s House of Payne earned two acting wins, one for Cassi Davis and one for Lance Gross, while Loretta Devine won for her roles in Grey’s Anatomy and Doc McStuffins.

Other multiple winners at the ceremony included The Young & the Restless and Steel Magnolias; The Game, House of Lies, Desperate Housewives, SmashHouse M.D., The Simpsons, and Parks and Recreation were also among the shows honored.
