Lady Gaga, Jason Aldean First Performers Announced for Grammy Nomination Concert

Billboard is reporting that pop star Lady Gaga and country musician Jason Aldean are the first performers to be added to the Grammy Nomination Concert Live special. Set to air Wednesday, November 30th at 10:00, the hour-long program will feature the unveiling of the 54th Grammy Award nominations.

Gaga and Aldean are both no stranger to the awards circuit, though Aldean has yet to snag his first Grammy. Gaga, who was up for Album of the Year last year, has five Grammys on her mantle, including three from 2011. Landing a slot on the Grammy Nomination Concert Live roster bodes well for both artists, as performers on last year's special combined for 23 nominations (and 4 wins). However, the big winner of the night, country group Lady Antebellum, didn't get perform on the nomination concert.

The 2012 Grammy Awards are set to air Sunday, February 12th at 8:00.

Who do you think should lead the Grammy nominations this year? What songs do you think Gaga and Aldean should perform? What other performers would you like to see at the concert special?
