It was an ok episode and wrapped everything up ok but didnt "wow" me. I feel that Starbuck/ baltar/ caprica 6 as angels story was weak. Maybe if they had take a bit more effort setting this up or had more time to explain properly then I could have swallowed it easier. A friend of mine said he prefers to think of them as super advanced beings or something along those lines but I'm like you. I want it spelled out to me and maybe thats the problem. I heard that RD Moore didnt have a proper vision of the end and was playing it by ear. that would make sense. you can imagine the meeting.... "right, lets kill off starbuck and bring her back...that'll mess with their minds.", "cool idea, so who is she when she comes back?", "ah we'll worry about that later". Fast forward to last few episodes "By the way - how do we explain the starbuck situation", "Fuck it we'll just get her to dissapear shhhh dont let on we didnt have a scooby doo" For me, the finale was so standard compared with what the series had given us in the past.
