It was a crazy night for Big Brother fans as the show went live for evictions. Of course, without Chima around the censors were probably a lot less tense. I can’t help but think how much more exciting the evening would have been with Chima there to test CBS’s tape delay, but alas Big Brother had other plans for the mouthy houseguest. There was no, I repeat NO surprise replacements for Chima – a bummer for some.
Chima’s former clique members were making some very calculated plays, trying to plant the seeds of distrust amongst Jordan, Jeff, and Russell. Natalie, Lydia, and Kevin tried to convince them that Jeff was out to evict Russell. Yeah, they have no credibility, but you have to admire the attempt. Jordan went on to win the power of veto and despite their best efforts, she left the nominations alone leaving Natalie and Lydia on the chopping block..
There was an interlude of Jessie worship as Natalie and Lydia traded stories about bagging the stud-muffin. Pretty sad. Well, maybe pretty isn’t the right word. Icky, strange, and sort of uncomfortable to watch might be more appropriate. Later on though, Lydia admits that she is feeling a bit jilted over the whole thing. That makes it all that much funnier when she is evicted, because now she is on her way to confront two-timing Jessie in sequester.
Now for the cool stuff! SPOILER ALERT! The head of household competition ran over, so those of you without feeds are waiting for Sunday’s Big Brother to see the actual winning play, but on the feeds we saw Jeff win head of household. This is so sweet. An ideal end to the show would be Chima’s crew excommunicated with a Russell, Jordan, and Jeff showdown. Oh, the drama!
