Big Brother 11 Sputters To A Close - And The Winner Is...

Big Brother 11 is now in the history books, but not to worry – there will be a Big Brother 12, and hopefully next time with a cast of house guests that can’t be whittled down to the few we wished had been evicted a long time ago. And I mean a really long time ago. Seriously, since Jeff was ejected from Big Brother I’ve just wanted to sleep through to the jury house. The Big Brother 11 finale had precious few twists – read that as: none – and wound up just making you glad it was over.

The only moment of promise was when Jordan revealed that she would keep Natalie in. It was puzzling. I’ve never felt that Big Brother was guided by the producers hands as much as I had when Jordan said that in interview. I mean, I wanted to stay tuned in just because I had to see whether she would screw the viewing audience by not giving Natalie what she finally, finally deserved.

There is a reunion interview with all of the evictees – except for Chima – and it is pretty clear that Natalie has no friends in the Jury house. So, it’s good strategy on Jordan’s behalf, but still bad viewing.

Jordan took the Head of Household contest, and booted Kevin. Really, do we have to recap from here? I mean, it was impossible to get tension out of the rest of the show – Jordan had it sealed, and predictably won. The only thing that was not predictable was a Natalie vote out of Russell, obviously still feeling the sting. Kevin voted for Natalie as well, but what was he supposed to do? So the end total: 5 votes for Jordan, 2 for Natalie, and somewhere a Chima weeps.
