Big Brother 12 Week Four Nominations Ceremony Recap

If Big Brother didn't bring the freaking CRAZY drama tonight, then I will pay you. Handsomely.

The hour picked up not at the end of the HOH competition folks. Oh, no. Turns out that immediately after Andrew gave his speech, the Houseguests went bananas at his revelation of the second showmance of the house featuring Hayden and Kristen, who both deny this accusation horribly. As Andrew points out, why would he lie about something like that? Kristen becomes Bad Mama Jama and lets her voice be heard for once (not counting the confrontation between her, Britney, and Monet a couple of weeks ago) and tells Andrew what she thinks of him and then some. In short, it doesn't work. The damage is done and the other Houseguests are livid, especially Queen Rachel and her Knight in Shining Armor Brendon.

After Andrew goes packing and the HOH competition ends with Rachel winning, Round Two begins and like Britney remarks, the irony of the two girls being in a literal boxing ring didn't fly over our heads. In the fight, Rachel makes Hayden and Kristen's relationship (which they still are denying) out to be a coup to destroy 'Brenchal' and if I could've rolled my eyes even harder than I did, I might would've busted them in the process. Rachel then goes on to say that Kristen even blatantly told Rachel to her face that she would've put up Rachel and Brendon if Kristen had of won HOH, which prompts Big Brother to run past clips, proving this accuastion to be false. The catfight then turns juvenile when Kathy hugs Kristen and Hayden, making Rachel have a tantrum by calling Kathy two-faced for even doing such a 'horrid thing'. Really, Rachel? Is it that serious? If you are some sort of scientist and the world depended on you to save the human race, we now know that we are screwed if we show any affection to your enemies.

The fight carries on into the house until Brendon breaks it up and pulls Rachel into their room. He calms her down while Hayden calms down Kristen. Hayden later comes and talks to Rachel, who despite still filling hurt, accepts Hayden's apology for the stuff he said to her outside. Later, Brendon talks Rachel into going and apologizing to Kristen, while Hayden does the same thing to Kristen. Rachel, being the bigger woman for once, comes up first and gives an apology to Kristen, who vehemently doesn't want to accept it. WHAT?!!?!? Is there a gas leak in the house or something? Hayden thinks Kristen is nuts, but she claims that she will not kiss up to Rachel's ass to stay in the house. In other words, Kristen doesn't want to play the game to an extent. If this wasn't Big Brother, then I would agree with Kristen, but it's not and she must make due until she leaves the game, IMHO. Plus, the other Brigade members are not happy about Hayden's relationship with Kristen and are already plotting the downfall of their comrade's happiness.

We then get to see Rachel's HOH room, where the entire Brigade and Britney make a big ass deal about viewing the room, but the joke is on Rachel, because they are ripping her a new one in the Big Brother Diary Room about how they could care less. Kristen doesn't go view the room and refuses to give Rachel the satisfaction of anything. Rachel, of course, takes note of this and files it in her file cabinet of a brain.

There is a luxury competition that features this year's movie cross promotion, The Other Guys, with Mark Whalberg and Will Ferrell. This leads us into a competition of the week, which makes me think that Julie's "gift" to the housemates for Enzo his correct pronunciation of his phrase Thursday was pre-planned to make way for this competition.

The competition features an obstacle course for the Housemates to tackle. The housemates must run in a group of three dressed up as two cops and a convict while holding a faux police car. The group who completes the obstacle course first in the short amount of time wins. The first team to go is Britney, Lane, and Matt who clock in at 00.52 sec, while the second team featuring Ragan, Kathy, and Kristen clock in at two minutes and some change. Ragan compares having Kathy on your team to dragging around a dead body ala "Weekend at Bernies." I die. The last team to go is Brendon, Enzo, and Hayden who kill the course in 00:47 seconds and take the competition. Did I mention that Rachel gets to see this movie, too? I feel bad for Hayden and Enzo. Really bad.

Later, Hayden tries to get Kristen to come around and talk to Rachel, or at least make an effort. She relents and tries her luck with Rachel, who still feels that Brenchal is in trouble and that Kristen is behind it, but admits to Kristen that she doesn't do well with emotions in the game and will consider her plea. Rachel runs tell this to Brendon, who woefully asks Big Brother what the hell is Rachel doing. He explains to Rachel why she needs to put up Hayden and Kristen and that reason is because of the fight earlier, which he thinks give Kristen and Hayden a chance to come after them later.

At the nominations ceremony, there were no surprises as Hayden and Kristen both went on the block. Neither of them are happy about this, of course, but hey. It's just a game, right?

Before I close out, I want to mention one crazy scene tonight that featured Britney and Rachel bathing in a tub together (with biknis on of course). True, Britney said it was just to see if she was safe, but what would Monet say? And can we get a Lane and Britney spinoff, please? These two are freaking comedians!!!!!

Thoughts?
