Tonight's Big Brother delivered more crying Rachel, more flip-flopping House Guests, and one bold move that could leave one House Guest wishing they had of really thought their plan through by the end of tomorrow night.
After the nomination ceremony, Rachel has another breakdown that sucks in Shelly and Jordan to fill in the space Brendon left in consoling Rachel when she's down. They both suck at their new roles, but I have to give them credit for not blowing their brains out in the process for trying to tend to Princess Rachel. Porsche, on the other hand, has seen the light finally and has begun to distance herself as far away as possible from Rachel's childish behavior. There actually might be hope for that one after all...
To help cheer up Rachel, Jeff and Jordan held a house meeting that was akin to a crooked preacher, politician, or salesman holding court in the middle of a town misleading anyone who would listen. The subject of their soapbox rant was how people in the house are sheep and will do what other people tell them to do. Of course, they were talking about Kalia being a puppet of Daniele's, but have they forgotten how they had been doing the exact same thing not even a week ago? Short term memory is a serious epidemic in the Big Brother house it seems.
During this sermon on shady people and their ilk, Kalia was having an emotional breakdown as she watched and listened to Jeff and Jordan preaching the gospel of their discontent. Kalia started to feel horrible about her position in the game at the moment, but was mostly concerned about she and Daniele's position next week. I'm not feeling well with Kalia breaking down every few minutes over putting Rachel and Jeff up, because that means she's having some sort of regret, which we don't need that right now.
After the POV players (Kalia, Jeff, Rachel, Jordan, Shelly, and Adam) are picked Shelly herds Jordan and Jeff into the Have Nots room, asking the couple why wasn't Jordan excited when Shelly was picked to play in the competition. Jordan then asks Shelly if she was truly with them or not. What the hell? Shelly was thrown aback, but let the two know where she stood in their alliance before storming out hurt. Jordan immediately feels bad and Jeff doesn't help matters by joking that it was Jordan's fault. He did, however, went and found Shelly to apologize. Whatever.
The POV came next and was a Greek themed game, which had the participants roll a ball back and forth on
a slanted table, scoring points for each time they caught the ball. The catch was that the ball could never hit the ground or their points would start over. During the game, Kalia was cheering Jeff on, which rubbed Daniele the wrong way. Aw come on, Daniele, let's not get over dramatic here. But to save you the agony of what had to be the worst POV competition ever, Jeff won the game and the POV much to Kalia's delight.
Back in the Have Nots room after the competition, Rachel started another pity party about how she was going home, which seriously should become a drinking game by now. Jeff and Jordan keeps reminding Rachel that she has a chance to come back in the house Thursday and to not sweat it. However, they mull over Rachel being able to have the votes if Kalia put up someone like Porsche or Adam against her on the chopping block. At the rate Rachel has been acting, I would have to say that would be a miscalculation on Jeff's part. Although, this cast is pretty stupid when it comes to votes so who knows what might happen?
Later, Jeff and Jordan went to visit Kalia, who tried again to explain her reasoning for putting Jeff on the block, but the two weren't hearing it. Jeff kept reiterating how he could have went home if he hadn't of won the veto, while Jordan just sat there and looked pissed most of the time. The two did bring up how Kalia made a mistake in her nominations given the twist this week and how the person evicted could come back and bite Kalia in the ass. Kalia vouched that she wouldn't put Jordan up in place of Jeff, but the way the conversation played out it seems as if Jeff and Jordan will nominate Kalia either way it goes. In other words, Kalia, it's pointless to try to make amends now. It's evict or be evicted at this point.
After Adam shaved his beard (which actually brightened my TV screen a bit), Rachel came to Kalia with a deal, I'm sorry, an ultimatum if you will, which gave Kalia two options: 1) To keep Rachel in the house by nominating a "floater" in place of Jeff. In return, Rachel won't go after Kalia nor Daniele in return, or 2) Evict Rachel and face her wrath once she comes back in the house. Kalia accepts the deal, but has to run it by Daniele first. Do I need to say how that conversation did not go well?
Daniele balked when Kalia proposed this new idea to her, but Kalia felt that she must start playing for herself instead of being in Daniele's shadow all the time. Kalia, just shut up. Please. I understand what you are saying, but at this point in time, it's not making sense and you are only backpedaling to get into the Vets good graces. Kalia asked for Daniele to trust her and to not forget about the twist on eviction night, but Daniele wanted to know why Kalia was taking two steps back after climbing to the top for two weeks in a row. Daniele also doesn't trust Rachel (as she shouldn't), but in the end Daniele agreed to let Kalia make all the decisions, which I would have said while crossing my fingers behind me.
Then the wackiest, surprising (or dumbest) thing of the entire season happened. While Daniele, Kalia, Porsche, and Lawon were chilling in the HOH room mulling over who would go up, Lawon says they should put him up as a pawn to be evicted?!?! While the three women looked at him in shock, Lawon explained how it would relieve the stress of having three people pissed off at Kalia and he could easily come back into the house and start kicking ass. When you think about it, the plan is actually pretty damn smart... only if it works. If it doesn't, then Lawon will share the dubious honor of being one of the dumbest players in Big Brother history. Plus, Kalia better kiss Lawon's ass if this works, especially after all the negative things she said while they were partners earlier this season.
The POV ceremony went as planned, with Rachel, Jordan, and Jeff gleefully thinking that they got over this week. Too bad they don't know the full twist, because four out of the five people competing to get back in the house are gunning for them just as hard as they are for Daniele. It's about to get crucial in the Big Brother house.
Are you guys ready for the madness to get even crazier? Did Lawon make a huge mistake? Or was the plan a stroke of Big Brother genius?
I hardly think Lawon had a plan at all. I think he relied upon some misinterpretation of facts presented by Julie Chen and thus proceeded with the knowledge that his return to the house was guaranteed. He couldn't have honestly thought he could beat out other contenders to get back into the house, seeing as he hasn't won a single competition. Yep, Lawon is a noob and he will be evicted due to sheer stupidity or ignorance
Is it just me or does this season seem a little weak? If it wasn't for Rachel and her theatrics I'm not sure where the show would be
When it comes to kalia making the decisions and your opinion of dani agreeing with fingers crossed…that's silly. Dani isn't hoh it isn't her decisions to make as much as she wishes kalia was her "protegee" and do whatever she says. I love kalia standing up to dani. Dani made deals to protect herself when she was hoh and now that kalias hoh she expects kalias deals to include her. Funny how last week dani wouldn't let kalia forget how badly she needed to win hoh to keep dani safe. Now that roles are reversed dani doesn't think she needs to get hoh next?? Wants to wait for week of her birthday?? The girl is selfish, spends all her time making fun of enemies and friends, and constantly talks down to people. Hope Brendan walks back through the door and dani spends her birthday in jury alone.
This is the most stupidest move ever made by a Big Brother contestant like Kalia. She is dumb, not thinking, not analyzing, does not have common sense in her decisions. After all her effort to win HOH just to to evict Rachel and she changes decisions??? Dumb! Watch out she will be going home next week, followed by Danielle, etc etc.
