Tonight's Big Brother displayed the ripple effect that occurred after Evel Dick's unexpected exit threw a huge monkey wrench into the BB house. The resulting damage done? Total carnage for the Big Brother household, top-tier entertainment/tomfoolery for us.
First up is the alleged double-crossing between Keith and Porsche, who are both the most clueless players at this point, which sucks since both of them are on the chopping block. Instead of getting smart and trying to actually save themselves from eviction, these two 'geniuses' left their fates in the hands of the other Houseguests who are growing increasingly tired of the pair. Porsche irked the Vets for getting upset to the point of tears about being nominated, causing the alliance to think twice about including her within their circle. Meanwhile, Keith gloated about how much he has the votes from The Regulators and the Newbie alliance, giving him enough of a swollen head to call out Kalia and Porsche in front of the Newbies for talking to the Vets on their own. This ignoramus move unsettles the other members of the Regulators alliance into thinking Keith might be a loose cannon who could seriously taint everyone's game.
While Porsche and Keith were running around the house pissing everyone off, the Vets were chugging the Power Kool-Aid as if they were in the final six already.
Then Evel Dick left the house and all hell broke loose.
The first Vet to lose it was Daniele, which was a given since she was worried about her dad. The second person to lose it was Brendon when he finds out that Keith is gloating that Dick is gone. I mean this man responded as if Big Brother told the house that Rachel would have to sleep with every man in the house sans Brendon to keep their HOH title. It was uncanny and down right insane watching each Vet cave under the pressure of knowing that they now only have five people to the Newbies six, plus the fact that out of all of them, Dick was the most calculating, social player of the house. In other words, they are pretty much six feet under in the game.
However, Jeff arose and preached the gospel of a Big Brother player who doesn't know the meaning of fear. Jeff's speech to his teammates almost had me crossing over to the dark side, but while he talks a good game, I'm almost sure as hell someone in the group will completely screw up any chance of them winning. More on that later.
The POV competition was held and consisted of a superhero theme. The competition had the competing Houseguests (Brendon and
Rachel, Keith and Porsche, and Jordan and Jeff) scaling a wall to piece together a puzzle that spelled out "Veto." Jordan and Jeff argued through the whole thing, while Porsche and Keith were focused on throwing the challenge without the other person knowing it, which the Big Brother editors had a field day piecing together. The only focused couple was, of course, Brendon and Rachel who successfully won the POV competition and had complete control over the house. This is where Jeff's rousing team speech technically becomes moot.
After the POV, Rachel and Brendon are on a power high and calls each duo into the room threatening to put them up in place of Keith and Porsche if they don't abide by their rules for the next few weeks. Keep in mind that the Vets only have five people to the Newbies eight and will still have the votes when either Porsche or Keith leaves the house. So, was it wise for Rachel and Brendon to intimidate their potential saviors? Not to me it wasn't.
After toying with the idea of replacing Keith and Porsche with Shelly and Cassi (because Rachel didn't like how Cassi wasn't kissing her and Brendon's asses during their interrogation), Brenchal chose to keep the nominations the same, which seals the fate of either Keith or Porsche to be the first person evicted from Big Brother this summer. However, I don't think the hamsters (or the audience) will miss either one.
Either way, Evel Dick is probably at home laughing at how his exit has seriously sent these people scrambling to cover their asses for the next few weeks.
So who do you think should/want to leave the Big Brother house?
I watch a series every now and then but yeah, I think I will just because it's the last and whatnot.
