CBS revealed the new contestants who will shack up with each other and compete for $500,000, but instead of the usual 13-14 Houseguests there will be only 8 new BB Houseguest this year. Why such the low number? Well look no further than the Dynamic Duo twist, which was revealed earlier this week.
So what does that mean to the overall game? Well it means notable duos/alliances such as Jesse and Natalie, Jordan and Jeff, or (Ugh!) Rachal and Brendan will serve as the remaining contestants once the show premieres next week. The thought of seeing Jessie, Natalie, Rachel, Brendon, or even Danielle and Dick Donato back on my TV screen scares me for many reasons I can’t list here right now. It seems like there will be a sharp divide in the house between past houseguests and new houseguests, and the strategy of getting the past players out first will be a hard feat to accomplish.
Then there is the count of the houseguests and just how many of the Dynamic Duos will be able to return. Will we have only 12 Houseguests this season? Or will end up with 14 or 16 instead? My guess would be that we will have three Dynamic Duos from the Past, which would give them a fair shot at domination of the house. If the new houseguests are dumb enough to let themselves get swindled, that is, which I pray that they are not. One thing is for sure, this will be one hell of a season of Big Brother.
Expect a more thorough glance at the Houseguests as well as a summary of who just might make it back in the house from our dreaded past. For now, take a look at your 8 new Big Brother houseguests! Warning! Judge the new hamsters with caution.
