Bob’s Burgers Renewed by Fox

After steadying itself in the ratings and gaining some pretty strong word of mouth, Bob’s Burgers has been renewed for 13 episodes by Fox, as reported by Vulture.

There’s no word on whether it will get another midseason run or if the show will be immediately slotted for fall, but Fox has at least two more animated shows in the pipeline (Napoleon Dynamite and Allen Gregory) along with all five members of its current Animation Domination line up returning. Wherever it ends up airing or timeslot sharing, I’m elated that we’ll get more of this family, as it’s really come into its own in the last handful of episodes and it’s always good to have another voice in the line up.

Bob’s Burgers was created by Loren Bouchard (Home Movies) and stars H. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Kristen Schaal, and John Roberts as a family that runs a burger shop. So far they’ve had to deal with health inspectors, robbers, capoeira, Moolissa, transvestite hookers, and animal anuses, so I can only imagine what kind of things the Belcher family will go through in season two.

And in cool link of the day news, here’s a running list of all the burgers of the day that have been featured on the show. You’re welcome.

Are you watching Bob’s Burgers? What has been your favorite episode so far (I think mine was Art Crawl, but I also loved Spaghetti Western and Meatballs)? Will you be watching next season?
