The penultimate episode of Bones kind of broke my heart. Vincent Nigel-Murray was such a terrific squintern, with all of his facts and enthusiasm. I'm very sad to see him go.
Then there's what happened between Booth and Brennan. Despite the fact that Brennan didn't actually say she slept with Booth, Angela - and the rest of us - clearly assumed that's what happened. As for Broadsky...well, he got what he deserved after taking the lives of so many people. Booth was able to capture and arrest him. Of course, this could mean that he might escape in the future and live to terrorize the Bones cast next season.
The season finale of Bones will be airing next week on May 19. Ryan O'Neal returns as Brennan's father when Booth and Brennan are forced to go undercover in a competitive bowling league after a bowler winds up dead. Max has to sit on the sidelines with an injury while Booth and Brennan gussy themselves up in terrible wigs and discover a plethora of suspects among the victim's teammates.
Below is a promo for the upcoming season finale of Bones. You can also view promo photos here and here for the episode. We definitely need a more light-hearted episode after the sadness that was the most recent episode of Bones. Don't miss the season finale on May 19! (And if you live in Canada, you'll be happy to know that the season finale of Bones will actually be airing a day earlier - on Wednesday, May 18).

Sigh. Killing Vincent Nigel Murray was a dumb thing. I was sadder over his not being able to come back and do a spot here and there than I was over the attempt to upset me with a character death. The episode just tried to hard to make me miserable. I had a feeling SOMEONE would die but I did not guess right. (thought it would be the fbi chick)
I dread angela giving birth. I never did like those kinds of episodes on other shows … and it seems so trite and overused. Joy… we get to see someone screech in pain.
Honestly, writing the script so tightly so that when someone gets a job they cannot do a spot here and there if the occasion arises… annoys me. One would THINK that the writers would have learned this when they wrote Zack into an abyss of no-return.
I cried the last 30 minutes of Bones, and found renewed love for the show! I thought this was the last show so now that I know one more's coming, Im thrilled…and stocked up on Kleenex!
