There were rumors that Booth's grandfather was going to make an appearance on the show and that will finally happen on November 19. Hopefully we'll learn more about Booth's family history. Will Booth and Jared's father ever make an appearance? We'll have to wait and see.

I read somewhere that James Garner is being considered to play Booth’s dad. Well, stop considering and just do it! There’s no one on this planet better suited than Garner for that part. Booth and Maverick (Boreanaz/Garner) are cut from the same bolt; their past characters are icons in the entertainment archives; they are both a little nuts (read: comical); and the pairing would not be difficult to imagine when one looks at them together. Please believe me when I say, signing Garner would be a real coup! I’ll be looking forward to seeing those two together.
