Last night’s Breaking Bad finale had many twists and turns, ones that I won’t ruin for you here. I did want to highlight two aspects of the episode in particular, however, the two songs that ended up being some of the most memorable audio of the evening.
First there’s Feleena, by Marty Robbins, you know, the guy with the cassette tape in that car? It also mirrors the title of the episode itself, Felina, which is also an anagram for “Finale,” for whatever that’s worth.
And then there’s the song that played in the final scenes of the night, Baby Blue by Badfinger. The connotations are obvious there, and it encapsulates the truest love story of the show, Walter White and his blue meth.
