Lifetime has announced that not one, not two, but three (yes, count 'em, three) Project Runway spin-offs will be hitting the network this fall.
First up will be After the Runway, a half-hour look at behind-the-scenes action from that week's episode of Project Runway. Hosted by Marie Claire's Zanna Foster Rossi, the show will debut Thursday, October 6th at 10:30 and will air for the rest of the show's current season. No word on whether the show will be a permanent fixture for seasons to come, but if you want a full two hours with your favorite designers, After the Runway sounds ideal.
Previous shows to air post-Runway include Models of the Runway, which put the models the designers used each week into an America's Next Top Model-like competition, and On the Road with Austin & Santino, featuring Runway alums Austin Scarlett and Santino Rice.
On November 3rd, Lifetime will be debuting the next two Project Runway spin-offs, with All-Stars airing at 9:00 and Accessories following at 10:00.
Hosted by Angela Lindvall, All-Stars will feature 13 of the most memorable contestants in the show's nine seasons doing battle for the typical assortment of money, exposure, and career opportunities. Accessories gathers together 12 talented designers of its own, all of whom have a particular specialty in either jewelry, handbags, belts, footweat, and hats. The winner of Project Accessories, which will be hosted by model Molly Sims, will win money from eBay Fashion to start their own line, a spread in InStyle Magazine, and a year of free runway hairstyling. On the judging panel for Project Accessories are shoe maven Kenneth Cole and InStyle editor Ariel Foxman, with Eva Jeanbart-Lorenzotti serving as the season's mentor.
Guest judges range from Debra Messing and Kelly Osbourne (Project Accessories) to Miss Piggy, Miranda Kerr, and Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes and N.E.R.D. (Project Runway: All-Stars), with more to be announced closer to each show airing.
