RuPaul’s Drag Race is taking a week to cool its engines before what promises to be a rip-roarin’ finale, so ahead of tonight’s highlights/never-before-seen-footage eleganza extravaganza, I thought we could really take a look at the top three queens to see just who is going to sashay from anonymity right into the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar. Who knows, I may even predict a winner while we’re at it.
Alexis Mateo
Strengths: The ability to BAM! on cue, the most rhythm out of the three remaining queens, a wicked pitching arm, the capability to throw shade while still remaining charming, the best lip sync-er of the season
Weaknesses: Doesn’t take as much advantage of her curves, slightly insecure, not as polished as the other two queens
Challenge Wins: 3 (Sci-fi trailer, Exercise video, and Military ad)
Lip Sync For Your Life Record: 3-0 (Has defeated Stacy Layne Bryant Mathews Q Lattisaw, Shangela, and Yara Sofia)
Predicted Finish: 3rd place
Manila Luzon
Strengths: Loads of personality, the ability to make Kristin Cavallari feel uncomfortable, pretty creative design aesthetic with enough versatility to be chic and elegant or a little bit zany, kooky lip syncs
Weaknesses: The poorest make-up of the top three (beautiful queen but the white around her eyes and on her forehead is a little distracting), somewhat reliant on Asian stereotypes for her humor
Challenge Wins: 3 (News broadcast, Jocks, and Money couture)
Lip Sync For Your Life Record: 1-0 (Has defeated Delta Work)
Predicted Finish: 2nd place
Raja
Strengths: Pretty flawless runway walk, strong make-up skills, witty banter with the judges, picked a great reason that she should win, she has the confidence in herself to take this title and not wait for someone else to mess up
Weaknesses: The least amount of personality (on stage/in challenges) of the final three queens, Hasn’t really gotten away from the costume-y motif yet, Very off-putting personality in her talking heads/in the work room
Challenge Wins: 3 (Christmas photo shoot, Cakes, and Music)
Lip Sync For Your Life Record: 1-0 (Has defeated Carmen Carrera)
Predicted Finish: 1st place
Okay, let’s be real for a second, shall we? It would take an act of the reality TV gods for Raja not to win this thing. As much as I love Alexis, I don’t think the judges appreciate her sense of fashion or her lack of polish (very akin to Pandora and JuJu from last season), so unless she mops the floor with Manila in a lip sync (a possibility, as Manila can do kooky/energetic, but I don’t think she can do pretty/whimsical as well as Alexis), she’s pretty much set for a 3rd place finish in the show. Manila vs. Raja should make for an interesting final match-up, but I think the fact that Raja has been criticized maybe two weeks out of the competition shows that the judges are pretty head over heels about him. Manila may bring the personality and the creativity (and judge Michelle Visage is a huge fan), but Raja’s got more of a sophisticated aesthetic that will lead the former Top Model make-up artist to victory.
If you guys want to check out the extras special, it airs tonight on Logo at 10:00 with the grand finale next week at the same time. The reunion, which should be all types of juicy, will be airing on Monday, May 2nd.

YOu were probably chosen out of HUNDREDS that would love to be on the show and didnt chosen.
YOU were adorable and we all loved you. You should be proud to have made it as far as you did. I was not suprised to see you in the top 5. I truthfuly loved watching you and the rest. Someone had to win, you were not chosen , enterting a contest , you should know that theres a chance you may not be the winner.
YOU gave up on stage in front of everyone, you made your exit . Dont be bitter, be PROUD of yourself ,
Most people dont like mean ole drag queens, if you really look thats what most are. YOU are not , you are good kid and have plenty of years ahead of you to make your way in the world.

I agree with KenBud on Raven. When Rebecca Glasscock beat Shanel and Tati took out Pandora and Raven (Miss Diversify) was beaten by Tyra I realized that this is really all about how Ru likes the best.
And I guess that's okay….
I AM REALLY HOPING THAT RAJA WINS. SHE AHS THE POTENTIAL TO MOVE DRAG AS AN ART FORWARD. UNLIKE ALEXIS MATEO SHE IS CREATIVE BUT TOO INSECURE. AND PLEASE DROP THEM HIP PATTINGS.. TOO MUCH FOR ANY DRAG. ANYWAYS AND MANILLA IS GREAT BUT THAT MAKE UPALL THAT WHITE AROUND HER FAE. AND HER WIGS ARE ALWAYS A LITTLE TOO MUCH. BUT SHE CAN HAVE A GREAT CHANCE TO WIN THIS AL.
I personally love Alexis Mateo, but truth be told she is not the strongest of the final three. This year's winner will definitely be Raja based on RuPaul's way of judging; elegance and couture will rule over anything else and Raja has that.
P.S. has anyone else noticed all of the hating that Michelle has done this season on Alexis Mateo? I think that little birdie will never let Alexis win even if Alexis wowed the judges in the final episode.
My personal favorite is Manila, even though I've hated the hole Heather thing.
And I would rather Alexis win over Raja.
Is Raja fierce – yes.
Is Raja amazingly creative – without a doubt.
Does Raja work like she wants it – of course.
But is Raja also a bitch – hell yes.
And I hate a pushy, arrogant bitch.
Nevertheless, I just know that the winner has to be Raja, and here's why:

but Alexis was not there either! and I noticed the same thing about Raja.
I like all three of the finalists. Raja should win because she takes drag seriously as an art form. She has all the talents you need to be a fierce queen. She can be very funny but seems serious surrounded by all that youth. Manila is beautiful but her work is not as classy. She's got personality but doesn't always remember to be a lady. Love Alexis the person. She is a great queen but just not going to make it against the beauty and sophistication the other two have. She relies too much on artificial props for her beauty. She is the hands down winner for heart though.

Definitely a poor choice! Maybe Raja wasn't just a "buddy" of Ru's… maybe he was the sentimental choice as well– Raja being an aging queen and all. If not for that, how could he be Ru's choice? Raja is just a big old boy with mad runway skills. Not to mention that "Caped Crusader" look he was rocking EVERYTIME he did his makeup. Considering the emotional mask he seemed to wear for every episode, maybe even that was fitting for this Bugger!!
Raja is a Heather and she deserved to win! I should have been the winner or taken first runner up! I was the prettiest queen by far! But they told me the drag world wasn't ready for an exuberant beauty like myself! Long live Raja! Yara Sofia you should be cooking tacos or cleaning houses girl! And take your girlfriend Alexis Mateo with you!!
