VH1 Renews Single Ladies for Second Season

With three episodes remaining in its successful first season, Single Ladies has been renewed for a second season by VH1. The stylish romantic-comedy, which premiered earlier this summer in the form of a two-hour movie event, will be returning in 2012.

Created by Stacey A. Littlejohn (All of Us, The Wanda Sykes Show), Single Ladies tells the story of three very different friends from Atlanta and their respective dating lives. Featuring Stacey Dash (Val), LisaRaye McCoy (Keisha), and Charity Shea (April), the show has tackled online dating, celibacy, and one night stands, among other hot-button issues in the world of dating, sex, and relationships.

Single Ladies airs tonight at 9:00, with its season finale coming August 8th.

Have you been watching Single Ladies? Do you think VH1 should add more scripted content? What do you hope happens with the ladies in season 2?
