Californication 6.03 Sneak Peeks: Charlie Gets on Grindr

CalifornicationThe best career move that Charlie Runkle has made in many a season of Californication was claiming to be gay to land hot actor Robbie Mac. Once a lowly agent with temperamental, rehabbing Moody as his "star" client, Charlie has now been accepted into the Gay Hollywood Mafia and with that comes some major professional perks. But what will he have to go through in order to claim them?

On the next episode of Californication, Charlie learns that he'll be getting a monetary raise (to afford that second car) and finds that his script ideas for Robbie please the boss, but it looks like Robbie has other things in mind for his new agent. Particularly, the star signs Runkle up for Grindr, an app designed for gay, bisexual, and bi-curious men that uses GPS to pinpoint potential nearby hook-ups. Charlie will now have to decide just how far he wants to go to keep his star client happy and his newly hot career from burning out before it could ever get cooking. Will he add another notch to the bed post and more money in his bank account, even if he has to act like someone he's not?

Elsewhere on Californication, Faith is being encouraged to attend the funeral of the rocker whose rehab credit she's currently using, but she's initially reluctant to put herself back into that place of grief. It makes sense, as intense emotions can often trigger addiction relapse and she doesn't want to fall too far down, but with the suggestion that going with another person could lessen the pain, it seems likely that she'll take Moody and they'll indulge themselves even more than they did last week. How much longer will either of them be able to handle staying at Happy Endings before blowing it off for good?

Californication airs Sundays at 10:30 on Showtime.

How far will Charlie let the talk of him being gay go before coming clean to Robbie? Will Faith find it within herself to make it to the funeral and grieve for her former lover? If she does, should Hank join her?
