The promo poster for the Battlestar Galactica prequel, Caprica, has been released and whoa, boy, did it get my attention. Most people thought that the original BSG had enough sex factor mixed in with it's nonstop, space opera action, but it seems that SyFy wants you to now that this is not all science fiction and that the sex will be amped up to high velocity. I mean... Have you seen the Caprica DVD?
The poster reminds me a little of Diana from V and the posters for the recent horror film, Jennifer's Body. Both were/are heavy in the sexual department and maybe SyFy will catch a lot of eyes with this advert. But the one thing that made me a little uncomfortable is the actress's childlike face. I had to go and look up her age and found she is actually twenty-two years old. She played the role of Zoe Graystone like a true brat and I just thought that she was actually of young age. Foolish me.

That’s definitely an interesting poster. For a show that is supposedly trying to attract viwers beyond BSG, this is a risky way to do it.
