Castle fans, looks like we are in for quite a treat in the season finale. TV Guide’s Fan Favorite 2011 issue has revealed a little blurb from Andrew Marlowe about the final hour of season 3 and things are looking pretty fantastic from where I am standing. While he won’t confirm whether we will see another Caskett kiss or not, here is what he had to say:
“There will be a significant moment when they’re on the same page and we’re not gonna have a situation where [Beckett’s boyfriend] Josh shows up and interrupts things.”
You know, liplock or not, just the fact that Dr. Motorcycle Boy will not interrupt anything already makes me really happy. And after that stellar episode last night – that final scene was really something, wasn’t it? – I am hopeful that we are finally going to see some real development between our dynamic duo. While I am not holding my breath that they will suddenly declare their undying love for each other, I am optimistic that we will see some serious progress.
And if last night’s moment is any indication, there is a good chance that they will finally see what has been right in front of them all this time. Also, is it too soon to hope that Motorcycle Boy will have already ridden into the sunset all by his lonesome by the time the finale rolls around?
See, at least we’ve got a silver lining for the casualty that is supposed to take place in the finale. As much as I love him, my money is still on Captain Montgomery, who is mysteriously absent from the TV Guide photo shoot, where Castle won Favorite Drama and Couple Who Should. Yes Kiss and Yes I agree it's the Capt. Much as I hate the thought of Season 3 coming to an end….I am Extremely excited for these final 3 episodes!
I really hope Montgomery doesn't get killed. There isn't a single one of the cast I want to lose.
Loved the end of last night's episode. I hope that's a trajectory Marlowe is going to continue. No more other partners popping up to spoil things.

I don't think we can base his absence from the photo shoot as the big hint that he's going to die. He rarely does any cast things, since he commutes from NY and LA all the time. He may not have been available to do it. I have a completely different theory about the death, that it's more metaphorical than anything else (we've seen these "spoilers" for deaths turn out totally different – the bird on Glee, anyone?).
I am squee-ing for these Caskett moments (last night, the upcoming LA episode, and the finale). I think I'm firmly planted in my denial of killing off a cast member.
Good! I haven't had the opportunity to watch this week's episode yet (I'm in college, and it's nearly finals) but the development up until now has been well written so I'm sure the finale will be spectacular!
My bet is still on Gina to die, however. She didn't appear in the 'breakup' episode because the actress is pregnant, and I'd bet that at the end of this season she'll be ready to leave for awhile to take care of her newborn. Plus, that would throw a major loop in Castle's life that I think would further help him identify with Beckett (and maybe lead to that special moment!).
I am more worried about cast member getting whacked. Could be a downer like end season 2?
Susan Sullivan said that the cast could not believe what was being proposed and that it will have fans coming back for more in recent interview? The show is NOT Body of Proof, it is our fun times with a little blood on the side, Caskett.
Yes I want Castle and Beckett to kiss. They have such, a great chemistry they are PERFECT for each other :) ♥
Hmmmmm as much as I'm dying for them to kiss for REAL this time and not just an act of heroism (or stupidity on Castle's part, depending on how you want to view) I'm not honestly holding my breath for it to happen.
As far as a cast member being killed off… It seems plausible and I am SO thrilled that Josh won't be coming in right at the opportune moment. But we know Beckett… She won't give in that easily to Castle. I can't wait to see how it's all played, though! YAY for Castle and Beckett!
Hopefully Castle and Beckett will leave us with a glimmer of hope at the end of this season. The writers shouldn't jerk us around for another year or so…..I don't know about the rest of you but I don't know anyone (in real life) who has tiptoed around a relationship like these two have.

As for who is getting whacked. I think it might be the male Medical Examiner (I can't remember his name) He's usually in the episodes when Lanie's not in them. And remember the Medical Examiner that did the case of Beckett's mother is dead. I think he'll find out something and it will get him killed…
Can't wait until the finale. The show is FANTASTIC….and deserving of EMMY NOMS.
i wonder what the obstacle is..i hope they dont get into a fight or anything..or that castle does something to hurt beckett or vise versa..that would really pull on my heart strings..and make me upset! I do not want to be yelling at our television screen! i hope captain Montgomery doesn't die! i like him. i hope its gina..or that medical examiner guy..i dont care for either of them..please dont let it be Lanie!!

I absolutely love this show. I love the writing, the dialogue and the acting is very good. I think the medical examiner may be the one to go. I doubt it would be a major character, because it would change the entire dynamic of the show. Beckett nd Castle need to get together already. This is becoming a bit tedious. They are great together. He always seem to be there for her, unlike Beckett's past and current relationship. She is always giving him sound advice. I hope Josh realizes that he needs to to Africa or whatever it was, after all. We barely see him and there is no inkling or hint of something real. Beckett needs to wake up before Castle gets tired and move on yet again. I hope they can make something happen. I was thinking also that Castle would get shot, but not die. Someone else would die.
It is a awesome show… and season finales are always cliff hangers. but I hope they dont keep this playing around the bush thing going they have been leading up all year to them being maybe more to take yet another step back is starting to make me grow tired of this. I like the show and will most likely watch it but they have dragged this on as fas as they should, let them be honest with each other and tell thier feelings. I have a feeling tho this season will end yet again with them not being more and that is a big mistake in my book.cant wait for the episode. but will be disapointed of they do this yet again. if anyone must die let it be the M.E.
