Castle Sneak Peeks: 4.11 "Till Death Do Us Apart"

Well, looks like The Powers That Be on ABC heard about my birthday wish yesterday and decided to finally release the sneak peeks for Castle's highly anticipated return next Monday. The winter premiere will feature Detective Kevin Ryan's wedding with Jenny (played by Seamus Dever's wife Juliana Dever), but all will not be happiness on this episode as an apparently shocking twist will disrupt the festivities.

Meanwhile, Esposito will be freaking out just a little bit that Lanie is bringing a date to the wedding and Castle tells Beckett he is also bringing someone with him.

Either way, it looks like Castle and Beckett will have their banter back at full force, which is probably good considering the mayor arc that is coming up really soon that will put them at different sides of the fence. This episode, "Dial M For Mayor" is scheduled to air on January 16th, right after Ryan and Jenny's big wedding bash, so we shouldn't have to wait for too long.

Whatever happens, it looks like we are in for some intense episodes in January. So place your bets in the comments below. What do you think the shocking twist is going to be and hasn't this just been the longest hiatus ever?

Castle returns with all new episodes next Monday, January 9th, at 10pm on ABC.

LOL at Esposito's face when Ryan tells him Lanie is bringing a Plus One :D

And I can't believe no one asked Beckett to the wedding.

  2. Gigi says:

The first clip is by far my fave. Too funny.
That scene just shows the 4 and their friendship. Beckett saying she'd dance with Espo – a very friendly thing to do.
Also is Beckett flipping through a magazine and chewing gum? LOL!

"And I can't believe no one asked Beckett to the wedding."
Ummm who's to say no one did but she turned them down?

Castle's face when Alexis brandishes the butter knife at him. Too amusing!

  4. Castlerox says:

I can't wait to see the romantic parts between castle and Beckett at the wedding and of course becketts face when castle is bringing someone to the wedding even though it's Alexis.

  5. lame says:

Glad to see they're keeping the tradition of beginning the second half of the season with a really good episode.
Remember Nikki Heat or A Rose For Everafter. This looks like classic Castle fare, fun and mystery.

  6. K says:

Okay, I loved the sneak peeks, but I’m not commenting to gush about them. I’d just like to correct information here stating that the episode after this one is titled “Dial M for Murder”. It is actually “Dial M for Mayor”. Producer Terri Miller confirmed it on Twitter. ABC’s press release was wrong.

  7. Nev says:

Lanie is clearly just bringing whoever to make Esposito jealous, a.k.a. re-bound guy. Or, the person she is bringing could be hot, single…and gay. I loved how Castle stoked Beckett's jealousy, then revealed he is bringing Alexis. So sweet, but also funny. Who's an easy mark now, Beckett?

  8. Kirsty says:

Can’t wait to see what Beckett wears to the wedding, keeping in mind she’s stayed pretty covered up for good reason this season so far.
