Those one-week hiatus sometimes are the worst, aren't they, Castle fans? I know the wait for next week's midseason finale "Cuffed" has been nearly unbearable, especially after that mindblowing hour of television that was "Kill Shot" last week. In case you haven't checked out my glowing review, you can do so here.
But that was last week, right? Let's talk about what's ahead for our favorite dynamic duo instead. What we know so far is that "Cuffed" will have Castle and Beckett handcuffed to each other for most of the episode. There aren't many details on what exactly is going to go down, but it looks like they will be drugged and abducted and left in a confined space (a basement of sorts, maybe) with no way of getting out and absolutely no memory of how they got there.
According to Stana Katic, who plays Detective Kate Beckett, "Cuffed" will a fun, light episode that shippers will love. Way to get our expectations through the roof, huh? Castle and Beckett stuck together for hours on end... the possibilities are endless and the fandom (and shippers) are going crazy with this mini hiatus. Whether our dynamic duo will finally get their acts together and do something about their non-relationship or not remains to be seen, but it looks like we are in for an awesome episode, penned by Castle's creator Andrew Marlowe and Terri Miller. We all know it's one step at the time, and this ep is exactly that – one step forward on their way of getting together.
"Don't get up yet, stay in bed" and Castles' bedroom voiced "Kate, hi"; 30 seconds and I'm already laughing out loud. Looks like a great sendoff to the holiday hiatus. I know the shippers are probably scaling the walls waiting for some sort of declaration, but I'll be happy with whatever Christmas gift Andrew and Terri give us. You guys are leading us who knows where, but I'm happily on board. Season four has exceeded my expectations, your character development has been more swift than expected but so wonderfully done. I'm glade the one step forward two steps back routine has been dumped. I know there will be problems ahead that will stop the movement in its' tracks, but at this point there's no going back.
Luciana, ABC showed the US promo tonight during "Body of Proof"…..it was quick and I haven't seen it online yet, so will you be the first to post it for everyone else to see?!

Been watching some youtube clips from this season and noticed how the character of Beckett has changed. She seems like she is just blossoming with happiness, just really finding herself and happy with that. Looking back on clips from this season, one can really see the Castle/Beckett dynamic just snowballing. I wouldn't be surprised to see some thing dramatic and exciting for shippers…this season.
Take a look a Castles' character as well. Have you noticed how he has very adroitly begun to challenge her.
Stana said in a recent interview that there wouldn't be one glaring moment when they realize that they belong together, but rather it just happening, they will just be. Keep an eye on the characters, that process began in earnest once the words "I love you" were spoken. It is happening.

Sorry "bout that. After the session that Beckett had with Dr. Burke in 4.09, you can begin to look for those little things she will do for Castle. Things that should show him exactly how she feels about him without saying the words. The real curiosity will be how long it will take Castle to realize what she is doing and how he reciprocates.
One of these days I'm going to get all my thoughts together and form one continuous essay, but for now, bear with me. Think back to 3.13 " the kiss", and how everyone was screaming how nothing happened between C/B in the following episodes. If everyone had looked closely they might have noticed the dramatic change in their relationship, and it was dramatic. Beckett began to join Castle in his wild theories, she began to play along,she no longer rolled her eyes, or made some sort of caustic remark. They not only finished each others' sentences, they read each others minds. How close can you be, to be able to call some one a slut and not be afraid of losing that person forever. That is exactly what Castle did in the infamous argument of 3.24, " you have relationships with men you don't love". She unleashed her fury at him, because she knew he was right, and that she was running away from him through these meaningless affairs. There has been a steady progression in their relationship, almost at a snails pace but it has been there. What makes season four so surprising is that pace has increased. So I say to all you shippers, don't bitch, this story is moving along very nicely.

If one watches the whole show one can see a spiral of progression happening, where similar events are happening but the intensity is heightened. For example mid season 3 Castle thought it was Kate who was shot (dead center in the heart) when Raglin was. From there it really set in how much he cared for her. Kate has been asking Castle out and buying him drinks subtly ever since. I'm really excited for tomorrow since this isn't the first time Kate and Castle have been kidnapped (season 3 close encounters) and woke up together, I just hope Castle is listening because usually when their together all alone is when Kate really dishes about her feelings.
From the clips Luciana provided you can see her looking at him and smiling wile he sleeps. That speaks volumes!

What's up still nothing. Lucianna I hope you're well also but I think ABC is dropping the ball there is tons of stuff for the mid season (Once Upon a time) and no review for Castle or sneak peeks for next year. i know their filming the cast has been tweeting. i need the scoop on how long I have to wait for the next episode.
Several outlets have reported that the next new episode will air on January 9th (I think there is a two hour “Bachelor” special on the 2nd).
And Luciana, you really do have us all a little concerned. I hope all is okay. Regardless of the “Castle” reviews we all have grown fond of you and hope nothing bad has happened. :)
