EW.com's Michael Ausiello just broke that the traitorous President Charles Logan (Gregory Itzin) who gave Jack hell in 24's fifth season will return to the show's eighth season in numerous episodes, which means he will have to be a thorn in the cast's side for a long time. I used to love 24.  I watched the first and second season religiously and used to tell everyone how awesome it was.  Somewhere along the way I started losing interest.  I know that I should love it, because Keifer is always so cool in it.  And one day I hope to get back into it.

After directing an astonishing 59 episodes as well as the two-hour 24: Redemption, Jon Cassar is stopping his own clock on 24.  The directed announced on his twitter today that he is leaving the show after seven seasons to pursue a career in feature films.

Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff has found herself a new steady gig, on FOX's 24!  The woman who regnederized Starbuck will be cast as a regular on the next season of 24, which is centered around a reconstituted CTU branch in New York city.  Details ahead.

Although the name Freddie Prinze Jr. might be synonymous with cheeky teen romantic comedies, the actor has been cast in the upcoming eighth season of 24, which began production yesterday, though it won't premiere until Jan. 17, 2010. Last Week on '24′: Tony was moved to the top of Jack Bauer's Most Wanted List once he helped Galvez make off with the canister of bioagent. Jon Voight unsuccessfully attempted to kill himself and Walker almost got blow'd up! Good times.

Last week on 24 – Tony's stuck in the Heel Face Revolving Door! He strangled Moss in order to recover a canister of the bioweapon that's slowly killing Jack. Spawn came back, but she wasn't nearly as annoying as she usually is. Jon Voight was arrested after Tony blew up the bioweapon. Last week on 24: Ethan got in some serious trouble for allowing Jack to go free. Mr. Bauer has supposedly racked up a body count of two thus far: Ryan Burnett and Senator Mayer, both of whom were actually killed by Quinn.
