NCAA Tournament TV Schedule: Thursday and Friday

Fans of The Big Bang Theory, CSI, The Mentalist, CSI: New York, and Blue Bloods will have to wait one more week before original episodes of their respective shows return to CBS, as the end of this week will be all about the Sweet 16 of the 2011 NCAA Tournament. A tournament for the ages, featuring electrifying buzzer beaters, shocking upsets, and dynamic performances from both player of the year candidates and unsung heroes, the 2011 tournament will be kicked into an even higher gear from here on out.  How many of the teams seeded 8 or higher will make it to the next round? Or make it to the final four? Will dominant teams like Ohio State continue their march toward the final four? Which player, if any, will elevate his game in order to try and snatch the Player of the Year award from BYU's Jimmer Fredette? Find out all of this and more tonight and tomorrow night on CBS and TBS, respectively.

How have you been enjoying the tournament? Did the extra few games give you time to get used to the split coverage? Is there anybody out there whose bracket has yet to be obliterated? (I'm jealous of those who are still in their respective pools.)

And fans of Fringe have to freak out because the stupid demographic will be watching sweaty tall men put small balls into big, short hoops. Lovely.
