Today, the network has decided to shut down production on the rebooted Charlie's Angels. What does that mean? Well, they're not filming any more new episodes. The network has said that the show will continue to air on Thursday nights at 8:00 p.m. for an unknown number of episodes, but who knows how long that will last. Nine times out of ten, shutting down production equals "canceled" at some point in the future, since they'll run out of episodes unless production is re-started (unlikely).
Unlike the rebooted Hawaii Five-0 over on CBS, Charlie's Angels didn't do very well in the ratings. The show premiered to a decent enough 8.76 million viewers, but then quickly dropped to below 6 million viewers. Granted, there was a slight increase in viewers during last night's episode, but the network has clearly decided it wasn't enough.
