screenshot008-1Yesterday Chuck fans everywhere rejoiced as they proved that buying a $5 sandwich from a show's top advertiser can make a difference.  In the end, one has to wonder if any of this was really necessary, or just a fantastic ploy by NBC to not only get the word out on Chuck, but to also keep us talking about it for the past two weeks.  Regardless, our sources say that Chuck will be back, though possibly with some changes.

The deal that NBC has made with Warner Bros. TV hinged on major cost cuts in the production of the show.  The rumors are that two staff writers will be let go as well as at least one possible casting cut, and significantly less time onscreen in each episode for the remainder of the supporting cast.  As much as I love the scenes in the Buy More, I sure hope the actor cuts are made there more than with Awesome and Chuck's awesome sister!  Still, you have to think Morgan is a staple, as well as Chuck's sister, however we might simply see less of them.  Chuck has been renewed for a 13 episode order for the fall season.
