Comedy Central has given the greenlight to Brickleberry, an animated show to be written, executive produced by, and featuring Daniel Tosh. The show, which was given a 10 episode first season order, is scheduled to air sometime in 2012. Brickleberry follows a group of dysfunctional park rangers on the job at a local national park as they try to keep it from closing due to their incompetence. It will be joining the three other animated shows currently running on Comedy Central: South Park, Futurama, and Ugly Americans.
There's no word on anyone else providing voiceover work for the show, nor has there been any specifics leaked about the animation style. Daniel Tosh, a popular stand-up comedian, is currently the host of Comedy Central's Tosh.0, a sarcastic look at viral videos and pop culture as a whole that just wrapped its third season.
Does Brickleberry sound like something you would watch? How do you think Tosh will be as a voiceover artist?
