Tonight on Criminal Minds: Motivational Speaking and Murder

Last week on Criminal Minds it was computer games and tonight they will tackle an unsub who has been inspired by a motivational speaker. This is a very different interpretation to this form of self-improvement and they head to Seattle to stop the killer before his body count grows. Spoilers ahead.

At first, it is the actual motivational speaker himself Barry Flynn (Patrick Fabian) who is the initial suspect. This theory changes when Flynn disappears and the BAU team has to re-evaluate their initial theories.

The killer is leaving behind messages written in blood stating "Hear Your Evil. See Your Evil" which is a play on "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" proverb. There is a question of ritual and rage that influences the unsub, an unsub who will be familiar to fans of Once Upon a Time. Check out the promo below to see who it is.

In personal stories this week Penelope (Kirsten Vangsness) is concerned when Morgan (Shemar Moore) declines an invite to a dinner that is honoring a friend. When executive producer Erica Messer spoke to TV Guide recently she did talk about a forthcoming Morgan episode that is going to delve into his past. This won't be until the 19th episode of this season and Messer said "He goes back to Chicago and the center and it's going to be about him battling his demons. It brings back memories and the case is somewhat related." So while tonight's episode isn't the one that Messer is talking about, it could also lay some of the groundwork for this forthcoming Morgan-centric story.
