Tonight on Criminal Minds: Keeping it in the Family (Sneak Peek)

criminal mindsFamily is a key aspect on Criminal Minds; whether it is the work family such as the BAU team, the actual families of this team or the many families they come into contact with through the crimes that are committed. Tonight we will see both the good and bad of what a family will do for each other and we will get to see Hotch (Thomas Gibson) getting the support of his colleagues, his new love interest Beth (Bellamy Young), and his son as he takes part in the FBI triathlon.

The case has the team investigating the deaths of women in Atlanta and it becomes apparent that they are looking for more than one unsub. As you can see from the promo below, it is a family that is behind these murders though it isn’t really clear why they are doing so. Wilfred star Fiona Gubelmann is playing a physical therapist that looks like she is in danger when she discovers something she shouldn’t while she is treating her patient Jeff (Derek Magyar). Is it Jeff’s parents Donald (William Russ) and Linda Collins (Kathy Baker) who are the dominant ones or is Jeff the one who is really in control?

Away from work, things seem to be going well between Hotch and Beth, who shared their first kiss a few weeks ago on Valentine’s Day. Beth is the first woman that Hotch has dated since his ex-wife Hayley (Meredith Monroe) was murdered in season 5 and it looks like Beth will be spending some time with his son Jack (Cade Owens). This could be a potentially awkward moment as Hotch will have to explain to his son who this new women in his life is, but it is also a sign that he could be serious about this new relationship.

Watch a promo and sneak peek for tonight’s episode of Criminal Minds “A Family Affair” below.

They are needing to give Thomas Gibson better parts and more time. He is such an excellent actor and a credit to the industry. Please don't give him parts that demean him as happened in Dharma & Greg. It was a funny show, but didn't like some of the stuff Jenna Elfman did to him. It was only a show , but can damage an actors true ability, sorry to say. He still is a commanding individual with integrity.
