Cult Preview: What Happens Next?

CultThe CW’s new meta show, Cult, premiered tonight.  In the real world, we were introduced to investigative reporter Jeff, who started to investigate the show “Cult” after his brother disappeared and left behind clues hinting that fans of the show might be responsible.  After visiting the set, Jeff got an ally in the form of Skye, a researcher on the TV show who also happens to know a lot about the fans.  Has Jeff now made himself a target of the show’s fans?  And will Jeff and Skye be able to find out more about the show’s mysterious creator, Steven Rae?

Meanwhile, in the TV show “Cult”, we were introduced to cult leader Billy Grimm, who is being pursued by former follower and current police detective Kelly.  Driven to find her own sister, Meadow, Kelly is convinced that she was kidnapped by Billy’s followers.

In next week’s episode, Jeff asks tech-savvy E.J. for help in tracking his brother, Nate.  Skye confesses to Jeff that she actually took the “Cult” researcher job to find out more about Steven Rae, making him a big target for the both of them.  On the television show, Kelly discovers a vertically buried body and believes that Billy is sending her a message.

Watch a preview below for the February 26 episode of Cult on The CW.  And check back next week for more teasers from our visit to the set in Vancouver.
