Cult: The CW Moves the New Series to Friday Night

CultThe CW has just announced that they will be moving their new midseason drama, Cult, to Friday nights.  This is not an unexpected move because the show, which just aired its second episode this week, hasn’t been getting good ratings in its current Tuesday night slot.  But the shortened season has already been shot and the episodes are in the can, so the network is doing some maneuvering instead of cancelling the series.

Now Cult will be airing at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Fridays after Nikita.  The CW will start airing repeats of Beauty and the Beast on Tuesday nights at 9:00 p.m. and that will be followed by repeats of other shows.
