Tonight on Dancing with the Stars Week 6: It’s Broadway Night

dancing with the stars season 13Get set for another theme week on Dancing with the Stars. Week 6 is Broadway week, in which each couple will dance to a famous show tune. Emmy and Tony Award winning singer/actress Kristin Chenoweth (the original Glinda from Wicked) will appear both nights this week, performing “Maybe This Time”, “I Could Have Danced All Night” and “Lessons Learned,” the latter from her new album “Some Lessons Learned.”

We’re down to seven couples remaining and have reached the mid-point of the season. And that means the nerves, tension and overall competitive spirit are fiercer. So what will the stars and pros dazzle us with  tonight? Mostly the quickstep and few other new dances, plus the group dances. The couples will be split into groups of 2, each performing to a Broadway theme. The judges will be looking at choreography, execution, but mostly at the patterns. The group has to stay in sync, one flub and the score will tank.

Nancy and Tristan are staying mum on the Broadway show for their dance, but here's what's out there on the other couples:

  • JR Martinez & Karina Smirnoff:  Quickstep (Chicago)
  • Ricki Lake & Derek Hough:  Quickstep (Guys & Dolls)
  • Rob Kardashian & Cheryl Burke: Cha cha (Jersey Boys)
  • Nancy Grace & Tristan MacManus: Foxtrot
  • Chaz Bono & Lacey Schwimmer: Tango (Phantom of the Opera)
  • David Arquette & Kym Johnson: Quickstep (Grease)
  • Hope Solo & Maks Chmerkovskiy: Rumba  (Rent)

Other guests this week include the Broadway cast of “Sister Act”, Martina McBride and Corbin Bleu of “High School Musical.”  Dancing with the Stars week 6 of Season 13 kicks off Monday, October 24 at 8 p.m. (ET) on ABC.
