dark-blueDark Blue, the last bubble show at TNT that's been waiting for it's renewal for sometime now, has finally been given the nod to move it on to a second season.  The Jerry Bruckheimer produced, undercover police drama premiered this year with ten episodes and came out of the gate doing fairly well with approximately 3.5 million viewers.  However that number dissipated quickly and by the time the tenth episode aired it was only pulling in 1.6 million viewers.

I had personally liked the characters, led by Dylan McDermott, and the undercover idea for the series, but as the show continued I felt that they should have allowed a few of the plotlines to drag out over multiple episodes, rather than wrap up the entire undercover operations each episode.  However I still think this is a good show and deserves a chance at another season.

TNT has reported that the entire cast will return for the second season which will consist of 10 additional episodes and air most likely during the summer of 2010.
