Days of Our Lives fans know things aren’t going to change for Abigail anytime in the near future. She’s got her head on all wrong right now, but the story line is just beginning. This means we can absolutely expect to see this go another way now that things are finally heating up. We are confident it will not be a problem that she lives with forever, but she will create many problems, hurt many people, and live the kind of life no one wants to live for a while. She’s going to hurt herself and many others, and there will be a lot of conflict.
Right now we assume these personalities have always been there since her trauma began a few years ago. Perhaps she created them to make herself feel safer and better about her life when it was all a mess, and that’s all right. It happens, and many people go through this kind of situation. However, Abigail herself has lost herself in the middle of all this. Her alter ego has taken over her life in a way that she might not be able to change, and that’s causing some problems.
Will she be able to break through that and come back as herself? And if she can’t, will her alter continue to pretend to be her and try and fool her friends and family? We think it’s possible, but we also help they know her well enough to know it’s not her in there.
