On a new Days of Our lives on Thursday, it appears that Paul has accepted an offer from John. It looks, though, like the offer might not be so bad. In so many story lines, the offers made by others are often dangerous and self-serving, but this appears to be a simple job offer. It appears that John is merely asking Paul to work for him at Black Pitch. Of course, we know better than that. No one around here makes any offers without wanting something out of it for themselves, so we know that this offer is one that will eventually turn out and make John gain something that he’s been wanting. Or, perhaps John really did mean the job offer in an innocent manner and Paul simply wants to use this to his advantage.
Abigail is distraught. She’s badly burned and she is miserable and her pain is not getting any better inside or out. She wants her husband to rescue her from the Shady Hills facility, and he doesn’t seem to have made any effort in her opinion to get her out of there. She is impatient and she is not feeling well, and she wants out. What this means for Chad is that his wife might make some mistakes, and she might end up even worse off than she already is. We know that this is not something that she can afford, and now we worry for her. We don’t know what she might try to accomplish on her own, but we do know she is growing quite tired of waiting on her husband, and she might make a terrible mistake.
Lucas wants Adrienne to take notice of him; he thinks that Justin is not doing what he needs to do to keep her happy, but he feels that he can show her what a real man is like. Will she respond to his obvious advances, or will she continue to pine for Justin and all that their relationship entails for the two of them?
