When it was confirmed that Desperate Housewives would indeed be coming to an end in May 2012, the next logical question seemed to be "who can we get to come back?". A lot of people have passed through Wisteria Lane over the last seven seasons and rumors started flying about who would get a final curtain call.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, one person that won't be coming back is Nicollette Sheridan's Edie Britt, as the actress told The Today Show that she wouldn't come back, even in a flashback or dream. Britt was famously bumped off in season five after hitting an electric post with her car, snapping a power line, and getting electrocuted to death. Sheridan recently guested on an episode of Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva and has a TV movie called Honeymoon for One premiering August 13th on the Hallmark Channel. I'm not very upset about the show ending. although I wish there was just one more season.
BUT I AM VERY UPSET Eddie isn't appearing in this last season, I'd like to see some more of her on some flashbacks.
