So after last night's airing of the eighth episode on Desperate Housewives, I think we might know who our strangler is.
No. It's not Nick ('Nic) Bolen, nor is it ANY of the Bolens.
It is Emily's (last night's victim) co-worker at The Coffee Cup, Eddie, who just happens to be the guy who's car Susan used to nearly crush Danny Bolen. Yeah, remember that kid? Same actor.
Kinda random isn't that, Mark, and stretchy random at that...
Yes it is, but think about it... It totally makes sense. Again, this is all speculation. I will be first to own up if this theory is not true, but all I ask is for you to hear me out. DH is known for throwing red herrings, what good mystery doesn't have them? Plus, your boy recognizes faces pretty darn well, so there. How can this not be more than a convenience?
So let me shut my trap and list the reasons why, along with the obvious, that Eddie, Danny's 'friend' is The Fairview Strangler.
1) Julie frequents the shop, which gives the guy a place to pick his victims.
2) He had Emily do a chore that he could have easily done himself when he saw her flirting with Nick (Nic) and he was holding a garbage bag. Talk about a huge "HERE I AM!!!!" in that detail.
3) Before Emily was attacked, she asked the person if they forgot something, which A) clearly signified she knew the person and B) is not something you ask a customer at closing. Believe me, after working retail, a fast food place and the library for years, you don't ask someone if they forgot something at closing. Instead, you would tell them that you are closed and go by your merry way.
4) The guy knows the Bolens, which could give him an easy cover. Blame it on the newbies.
Other than these clues, why else would they have the same guy who played Danny's friend to work to at the place of the second strangulation? Again, more than a coincidence in my book.

After reading this text and comments, I think the reason why the strangler acts is because he is gay and has a crush on Nick. Consider the following: the two victims had a connection of love with Nick. Maybe jealous? I do not know, I'll be waiting to see
Well he looks a bit different than the guy who's shoes we've seen after Emily's dead but after reading that speculation it really makes sense.I mean if they just needed a friend for Danny they also could have picked a Scavo boy. So why should he be on the if he's not the Fairview strangler? Before season six we never saw him and he didn't die in the plane crash. So he has to do something with the Bolens secret or the strangler.(I'm sorry if my english isn't perfect. ;-) I'm german.)

not maning to bve sexist but i doubt it is angie the shoulders were far too borad for a start also i did theink that it may be danny attacking whomever he saw his father with to get him into trouble(both from angie and by being accused for attempted murder & murder).

you know what i think you might be right – very convincing points but then again we'll all just have to wait and see because as we all know this genius programme always leaves us gob-smacked with the insane revelations
has anyone concidered anna, dannys girlfriend remember in season 5 when she was moving in with gabby her granmother said to her friend that carlos and gabby will soon find out about her past, u never know DH.
yes, i think this is a good point, but what motive… i hope that it is all well connected. and it cannot of been angie because-In the episode "Would I Think of Suicide?", it's shown how everyone is gathered at the scene of the crime at "The Coffee Shop" where Emily was killed, then a mystery guy whose face is not shown is seen walking and unwrapping a chewing gum and throwing the chewing gum wrapper on the floor, as this scene plays out, Mary Alice narrates: "Yes, everyone in Fairview now knew a killer was walking among them, and they would soon learn he wasn't finished", confirming that the killer is a male.
obviosly the strangler is the tyler´s friend.For me its because he has feelings for nick (i think he might be gay)and he hates women have feelings for him,then he tries to kill them.i think he will strangle angela in the final season
