obviosly the strangler is the tyler´s friend.For me its because he has feelings for nick (i think he might be gay)and he hates women have feelings for him,then he tries to kill them.i think he will strangle angela in the final season

yes, i think this is a good point, but what motive… i hope that it is all well connected. and it cannot of been angie because-In the episode "Would I Think of Suicide?", it's shown how everyone is gathered at the scene of the crime at "The Coffee Shop" where Emily was killed, then a mystery guy whose face is not shown is seen walking and unwrapping a chewing gum and throwing the chewing gum wrapper on the floor, as this scene plays out, Mary Alice narrates: "Yes, everyone in Fairview now knew a killer was walking among them, and they would soon learn he wasn't finished", confirming that the killer is a male.

Well he looks a bit different than the guy who's shoes we've seen after Emily's dead but after reading that speculation it really makes sense.I mean if they just needed a friend for Danny they also could have picked a Scavo boy. So why should he be on the if he's not the Fairview strangler? Before season six we never saw him and he didn't die in the plane crash. So he has to do something with the Bolens secret or the strangler.(I'm sorry if my english isn't perfect. ;-) I'm german.)

After reading this text and comments, I think the reason why the strangler acts is because he is gay and has a crush on Nick. Consider the following: the two victims had a connection of love with Nick. Maybe jealous? I do not know, I'll be waiting to see
