The fifth season of Showtime's Dexter will come to conclusion tonight.  Executive producer Sara Colleton told ABC News that we shouldn't expect the same bloodbath that marked the season 4 finale where Rita was murdered.  However, she promises emotional satisfaction for what happened to Dexter's wife.  Below is a short synopsis of the season finale, along with a sneak peek from Showtime.

The season five finale finds Dexter (Michael C. Hall) barreling towards an inevitable and decisive showdown with his latest nemesis Jordan Chase (Jonny Lee Miller). Over the course of the last eleven episodes, viewers have watched Dexter's journey of redemption lead him down a familiar dark road, one that has put the woman he loves in the cross-hairs of a maniacal killer. Have Dexter's missteps finally caught with him? And is Lumen (Julia Stiles) destined to suffer the same fate as Rita?
