Dexter Season 5 Poster and Preview - Part One
UPDATE: This poster is FAKE.
Here's a special treat from Showtime: the official poster for Dexter Season 5. Everybody's favorite serial killer returns to action thus Sunday, September 26th on Showtime with "My Bad". When we last saw Dexter, he had discovered his wife Rita was the final victim of the Trinity killer. This is going to get complicated, mostly because to the outside world the Trinity killer is still lurking about - this is going to bring more scrutiny of the law enforcement variety than Dex has ever had. On a strictly character level, Dexter was on the verge of finding a thread of humanity within himself when he wandered upon the gruesome scene, a sort of chink in his Dark Passenger's armor.
Rita's death changes all of that. Where he once looked at his family life as the perfect mask for the ugliness that squirms below the surface, season 4 forced him to reconsider whether he could nurture, love, and feel. That moment of clarity has been slashed away by the Trinity killer, and now Dexter must again reinvent himself - using his rage over what has happened to forge yet another facade to shield his dark urges.
We've seen the first three episodes of Dexter and they are absolutely fantastic, on par with anything you have seen as of yet and as suspenseful as the Dexter brand can be. Stay tuned for a detailed review of "My Bad", and beyond.

I know there's a lot going on on this site lately, and I probably shouldn't criticize…but but the season five premiere of Dexter is not called "Now What?" That was the House season premiere.
Thanks for the heads up, I've fixed it
Dexter is one of the best shows on TV for many reasons. The writing is great. Michael C. Hall is amazing. The score. The drama. And pretty much everything about it. BUT, as we approach a half decades worth of the show I get a little worried….
