Dexter Spoilers! Episode 6.11 - Is Doomsday Swimming in Dexter's Waters?
Ever since it was revealed that Gellar (Edward James Olmos) was nothing more than the projection of Travis Marshall's (Colin Hanks) own inner dark passenger, Dexter has been in a very precarious position. Not since season three's Miguel Prado (Jimmy Smits) has Dexter opened up so much to a potential rival, and this time he did so with his guard completely down. The question is, how will Marshall exploit what he knows about Dexter to keep the upper hand. Speaking of hands, the title of next week's episode is "Talk to The Hand" - no doubt a reference to the "Ice Truck Killer" prosthetic hand cum evidence cum memorabilia.
As you peruse the photo set from Dexter 6.11 "Talk to The Hand", which airs Sunday December 11th at 9PM EST on Showtime, look out for a few of these sites and tell me if you get the same sense that I do.
1) It seems to me that Doomsday/Travis stalking the marina is a more than subtle signal broadcasted directly to Dexter's paranoia center. Maybe its a coincidence and nothing to get too excited about, but with the recent reveal that Dexter will be coming to an end maybe Deb's brushes against the evidence of Dexter's dark side will start to stick.
2) Josh Cooke's Louis Greene has proven to be a resourceful detective all his own, and his taste in collector's items is down right bizarre. You have to wonder if Mr. Greene's crime solving skills extend beyond the computer keyboard. Is his fascination with Dexter connected in anyway with his bizarre choice of memorabilia? It is possible Louis is being groomed for an even larger arc. The title of Dexter 6.11 "Talk to The Hand" certainly seems to suggest that Louis might be using his latest nick-knack as leverage. Tune in next week to find out. In the meantime, enjoy this Dexter photo set and sound off with your theories and observations.

the hand referred to in the title could be a reference to gellar's severed hand that dexter said he was gonna keep in the morgue in case he needed it again either, could be both hands?
Either way i'm finding the subtle hints at Deb's ignorance (Maybe his sister didn't know?) and what not as well as Louis's ulterior motive that we don't know yet, to be far more interesting than Travis and the open secret for the last 7 episodes that he is a raving loony.
Dexter calling the police is the only saving point to show that he hasn't totally become overruled by his emotions, become sloppy and undexterish like he has been lately.
The promo looks promising except for the scene that looks like Deb is going to kiss Dexter cos that freaked me out.
Dexter calling the police was, careless.. He used his cell phone and he didn't disguise his voice at all. I wonder if they will deal with that in the next two episodes.
The lab nerd must be Dexter's nephew (Brian Moser's kid)… why else did they bring him randomly in for one episode, then have the lab geek buy the ice truck killers hand. I also find it weird how he is so obsessed with dexter as was brian before it was revealed he was his brother
