I’m going to warn you right now, these promo pics from next week’s episode of Dexter, Dex Takes a Holiday, give away a major plot point. Seriously, if you don’t want at least one overarching plot spoiled – don’t go any further.
Still here? Good. I salute you. You have courage. Now, what is spoiled will be fairly clear once you start flipping through this Dexter gallery so I might as well set it up for you a little.
First, and least spoilery, we find out whether or not Trinity reads the newspaper. He does. John Lithgow is really working that ‘concerned expression’ too, the screenwriter must have put it in ALL CAPS.
Regardless of the title, Dex is not taking a holiday from killing. In fact, he’s going for big game. A dirty cop. She will prove to be one of his wiliest prey to date. If you caught the preview for the episode, you know she puts up a heck of a fight against Dexter and at one point is holding a taser to his head. Keeping in mind that Dexter getting caught would be pretty catastrophic to the show, we shouldn’t be too worried – yet, amongst these promo pics is one image that will tell you without question how things end up.
